I got some of this from my bro....tell me what you think
You never know the cards you're going to be dealt. As many people know, No Limit Texas Hold 'Em has taken over the media and lives of many Americans, as well as other nationalities across the globe. Ever since the World Series of Poker in 2003 was aired, No Limit Hold 'Em has been the thing to do every day. There isn't a day that goes by where someone hasn't called my cell saying, "Ely, you in for poker tonight?" It's spreading faster and faster everyday. Kids at ages as young as 5 and 6 already know the rules to the game. Well, on that note, I can't help but compare the game of Poker to the game of Life, each and every person's life.
Checking, raising, bluffing, folding, cheating, throwing in a small and big blind, reading those around you, sensing body language, communicating with others, knowing when to hold and fold, blocking out all outside pressure and stress, and going all in. These may sound like simple poker terms...so how is life related to these words and phrases?
Living strong in life consists of how you present yourself to others around you. A big part of living in today's society is knowing what is going on in all aspects of the "game" and knowing who is doing what. Are you good at reading the guy next to you? What about the guy next to him? Can you keep your eyes on everyone at all times?
"Checking" in your life: In poker, a check is when you let the person next to you decide whether or not he or she wants to check or raise. One simple knock on the table symbolizes, it's on you. During this check, are you being mysterious, and slow-playing it? Maybe you have 3 of a kind, but you decide to let everyone think you have nothing. In life, it's the same way. Do you let others decide what is going to be your fate, or do you go out and decide it for yourself? Do you put chips in right away to let the table know you're present, and you mean business in this hand? Life is extremely similar to this. Do you make yourself known right away, or do you stand back in the shadows and wait for people to try and read you? Who decides your fate?
"Raising" in your life: In poker, a raise is when you take what the person before you put in, and add more to the table's pot. Are you bluffing, or do you really have the cards to still be in this hand? Image has a lot to do with everything in today's world. How you look and what you're looking at have everything to do with image. Society today is extremely superficial. However, do you realize this, and "raise"? Are you so confident that your opponents around you will fold or go in, and you know you have the hand? Are you that confident? Or...are you a risk taker?
"Bluffing" in your life: In no limit texas hold 'em, the "bluff" is the most important aspect to the game. Everyone playing in a pot knows what hands COULD exist. With the two down cards that everyone is dealt, there is a possibility for great hands each and every time. However, what if you don't have the cards, yet the chips just keep piling up in the center, yet, you keep calling these ungodly amount of chips? Then, it comes to the point where you bet "all in" completely bluffing. And then, you get lucky, and everyone at the table folds. You reveal <2> <6> off suite, as you grab all the chips in the center of the table. It's a good feeling...when it doesn't backfire. Life demands "bluffs". Lying, cheating, and making others think different from what is reality: is this starting to sound a little bit more and more every second...like the game of the one life that you are given?
"Reading others and being mentally stable" in life: Poker is a man's game, they say. Although I've seen some impressive women play Poker in my days with the game, I seem to stick with the idea of image and how one presents himself to the rest of the table. 7 other people in a tournament style game could be so incredibly intimidated by one person, that they fold everytime they end up going 1 on 1 against this person. Is this NOT life? Is there that one person that intimidates you in something, and that you always seem to come up short against? What can you do to change this? Do you have to wait for luck?
I believe the game of poker can tell a lot about a person in general. Poker, suprisingly enough, teaches one so much about the game of life. Weaknesses arise in people, and it's up to you to bring those weaknesses out of them. After playing poker for a few years now, I realize this more and more: People don't ever completely change. They may develop different ways of playing the game or living out life, but, there is always a past, and there is always what happened. People do try and block that out, and move forward, but you can't erase history. It happened, and that's that. The same with poker. With much experience and practice in the game, you learn to be able to read people around you. You bring in subjects such as: Sociology, Psychology, Economics, etc. Is it not amazing that a simple card game with friends or enemies can tie in with so many worldly aspects of life?
Which brings me back to my original point. You never know the cards you are going to be dealt. They may be good cards, yet, they might be terrible. It's all a matter of how you play them, and how you conduct yourself around the people you are with. Are you going to start shaking and give your secret away? Or...are you going to remain still, eyes dead locked on the prize, being as bold and as brave as possible?
Many people believe that Texas Hold 'Em is a game of luck and chance. If you take a chance, you have to wait for the lucky card in the deck. However, is life luck? Are some of the things that happen true, because of luck? What are the odds of something happening? Are we willing to risk it, and go for that chance? It's sometimes easy in poker, but in life, are you willing to take that chance, push all in, and sit and wait for the River? It all depends on what type of person you are...not the cards you are dealt. Conduct yourself in a way that will get the job done...that is life, ladies and gentleman.
I don't know what exactly inspired me to write this bit on Life and Poker. I've been playing a lot recently, with different types of people, and it just amazes me how people react to certain situations. How people turn on each other and do anything for money. What extent will one go to just to win a pot? How hardcore and how intense will one male or female get?
My poker buddies would agree with many of the things I had to say, I’m sure. Maybe you didn’t think as deep into it as I did, but it’s just something that I’ve been realizing as I’ve played in games this past month. You can just REALLY tell a lot about a person when you get involved in poker with them, because the game brings out the best and the worst in them. It depends on how you play, and that determines if you’ll see the best or worst in a person…and their game. My designated group of guys for poker, with a couple newbies that join the mix every once in a while, never find it old to play poker. It’s amazing, because we’ve played so many times together, yet we always find new ways and new things to make it interesting. When a tournament finally finishes, and everyone is exhausted from it, we always mumble, “I never want to play this damn game again.” But, sure enough, the suitcase of chips is out once again the next day as $5.00 bills are slammed down onto the table. It’s something so unique from anything else. We just can’t get enough.

Im just gonna update on what went on the past couple days
Thursday- Was my moms birthday so we celebrated that and went out to dinner for it and also went to my grandparents. We went to Chillis and had a pretty good time. I wrote her a pretty good card/letter. She loved it so thats all that matters.
Friday- Got a call for my coach for Northville basketball. Our first practice starts Monday, and im excited cause this will prolly be one of the last times i will be able to play with my brother in a basketball league. Last time we played today was RTJAA Minor Sonics. I was like 8 or something. Also all of seans friend are on the team so this should be really cool. Plus we have a lil cheering section that involves all the rest of seans friends. I went up to Family Video and rented MVP Baseball 2005. Pretty good game. Then i came home and worked out with my brother and then just chilled for the rest of the night watching the Pistons beat the Clippers by 13. I also have a new favorite player....Corey Maggette hahaha
Today- Woke up around 12 and ate some breakfast. Then played mvp 2005 for like 2 hours. I was pretty bored. Then went to basketball practice up at Fisher from 3:30 to 5:30. We worked our defense and offensive plays. Then i came home and ate dinner...and watched a lil bit of Louisville and Illinois game. Illinois ended up winning by like 13 or something. Then went to my basketball game in Detroit. We were playing the team that we only lost to before. We fastbreaked the whole game and was up by 10 at half time. We ended up winning by like 4 or something and advanced to i believe the Semis in the playoffs. Now im watchin MSU beat NC by 5 with 45 seconds left in the first half. Go state

Well i havent updated this in a pretty long time...so im gonna leave off on the 22nd which was a Tuesday i believe.....
Tuesday- It was the day of our championship game and we were playing the Celtics. The game was at 6:30 and i got there and warmed up. The game started off pretty steady except all the Celtics points were coming from Greg. At the end of the first i think it was tied....then in the 2nd....Greg continued his scoring and was the only guy from the first line on the Celtics to score. At half time we were up by 4. In the third i came out and was posting up their zone and was scoring on it. We continued our fast break and then our 2nd line came in. They went on a 13-0 run and we were up 13 going into the fourth quarter. Im surprised to say it...but Brendan had a very good game. He had about 15-18 points. We won the Championship game 65-57. I think i finished with 25? and it was a good game overall. Our next game is the week after Spring Break.
Wednesday- Didnt go to school and just chilled out here for the first day of Spring Break since everyone else was still in school.
Thursday- Played a lot of basketball and worked out. I havent worked out in a while so i need to keep that going
Friday- Got a call from Ryan Johnson asking me if i wanted to play in a YMCA tournament at the Detroit YMCA. So i said i would play and our first game was tomorrow at 7:50.
Saturday- Went to Bens party and played like 3 hours of basketball. It was a pretty cool party, small, but cool. Then came home and got ready then headed over to Fisher because our bball team had practice. We practiced there for about 2 hours and then our game was at 7:50. So we got there and the game started right away. We were going against an all black team that had 4 kids that could dunk. I know our team is an allstar team but come on.......
We were hangin in there throughout the whole game and we were even winning a couple of times. But then in the 2nd half we fell apart and ended up losing by about 8. I played alright with 10 points but i was in foul trouble the whole game.
Sunday- Easter and it was a lazy one. Our family just hung out here and played some family poker (which i won 25 bucks), basketball, and colored some eggs and watched North Carolina and Michigan State advance to the Final Four. Lets go NC!!!!
Today- Woke up at 2:30!!! hell yes lol. Then played some PS2 with my brother and his friends and also shot some hoops. I just ate dinner and now im about to get ready to go to my Basketball game in the D! Game time 8:40.

Well havent updated in a week and its late and im bored and just watchin college basketball so ill think ill go for a spin
Saturday- We had our bball game at noon against the Magic.....ahhhh. lol. Wasnt the greatest game for us Sonics. Our second team really let us down and they were not letting Shawn shoot so thats where it went wrong. Our starting line was in a to big of a hole and just couldnt come back. I tried to take a painful charge, haha, but it didnt work. We lost the game by 9 and i had 21 points. After the game i chilled there til about 4:30. Hung out with Alex ;-). That was fun then i came home and chilled and played some poker.
Sunday- I got a call from Coach Rod and it was about me starting to drive. My first drive day was Tuesday and i was real nervous. So when my dad came home we went out driving in the sub divison and i did an alright job.....and i watched a lot of college basketball that night along with the Seeding of the Brackets.
Monday- Long day of school and then football workouts. Ran the 2.5 mile run, thats always a bitch. Came home and did some homework and filled out my March Madness bracket. My final four is Wake, NC, Duke, and Illinois. My final is NC vs Wake with NC winning 82-78....i dunno we will see what happens. Im in 3 brackets already with Ronnies, Aarons, and Nicks. Hopefully i win at least some cash. Then at night i talked 2 Alex at night and popped the question. lol even though i asked you weird but i did it.
Tuesday- School then Driving at 2:30. For the first time driving with Rod, he said i did a very good job and that makes me feel good lol cause i was worried. We drove on schoolcraft and also on inkster all the way to 7 mile. It was pretty fun. Then came home showered
Wednesday- School then football workouts. Easier run day but its still tiring. Then came home and went driving with my dad. Came home and showered and did some homework. Then went 2 bed.
Today- Short day of school....30 minute classes....with St. Patrick Day Mass along with the State Championship assembly. Amazing assembly and also results in a free day. Our free day is tomorrow and i needed it cause the week seemed really long. Then i had driving at 3:30 and i got my permit so now i can drive legally with my rents anywhere. Came home, ate, and headed off to drivers ed class. I forgot 2 put the classes in for tuesday and wednesday so there ya go. Got class Tues-Fri from 6:30-8:30....pretty boring but its good. Now i am here now....tired
Pistons on a 3 game winning streak and we gotta keep it going. Great win beating the Seattle Sonics on Wednesday...great game 2 watch

Well I havent updated since sunday and im bored and its late and there is nothing else to do so i think im gonna update this thing
Monday- No school so i woke up around 12. I had some breakfast then went outside for about an hour and played basketball by myself. I worked on some of the minor things that i need to get better at. Then i just chilled the rest of the day and resting for March Madness the next morning.
Tuesday- Woke up at 5:30 and headed off to March Madness. Everything was going fine until we got to the downups. I was feeling fine but then when we got to the 3rd quarter of downups i got this really bad headache and it wouldnt go away....so after we finished the downups i was dead and felt like total shit. My first class was gym and it seemed like i couldnt see straight. Then i went to English class and i was so sick. I just rested my head on my desk the whole class and i couldnt last anymore. So i headed down to the office and my mom came and picked me up and went home and slept. I woke up and was feeling a lot better so i went to my basketball game. We were killin in the first quarter by 21. Then we dropped the lead but still won by 10. I had 18...should of had more but i got my average in points. We beat the Pistons 58-48.
Wednesday- Last wake up day for March Madness.....and i was not looking forward to it at all. 100 downups was going to be a complete bitch. I actually felt good though and it seemed easier then the day before because i wasnt feeling sick. I was so glad that the waking at 5:30 and downups were over. I then went to school for the rest of the day. I came home did homework and just watched the Pistons. They beat Golden State by 4.
Thursday- Woke up at 7!! An extra hour of sleep helps and its a great relief that March Madness was just about over. I went to school and prolly failed a History Test but i did good on a Math test. Then i came home and had a good dinner then left for March Madness at CC. This was just supposed to show the parents what we had to go through and how hard we worked. So we only did 48 downups and it was a breeze. I came home and stayed up til about midnight because no school the next day.
Today- Woke up at Noon. No school. Turned on the TV and watched North Carolina beat Clemson. They had to come from behind to beat them.....im not so confident on that win by them. But they are still my team to go to the NCAA Final and to win the ACC tourny. Then i came online around 2:30 and talked to some people. Then i went bowling. Came back here and worked out with my dad. Then we had dinner, pizza, and then i turned on the Pistons game. Hell of a game but i was pissed that the Pistons lost. Then i talked to Alex on the phone for about 30-45 minutes. Fun talkin to her lol. Now this is where I am now and im thinkin about goin to lay down cause i got a game tomorrow at Noon.
Tigers are 4-3 in Spring Training and Ordonez hit a 2 run Homerun at his second time up to bat as a Tiger. Im looking forward to this upcoming season.

Well its been a long weekend so i will try and update as fast as i can....
Wednesday- Had the first day of March Madness and let me tell you...its was a son of a bitch. So tiring and it sucks because you are like falling asleep all day in class. After school i came home and rested, then i went to my basketball practice. It was a good practice and i got a lot better on my free throws. Then i came home and showered then i went to sleep at around 8:30 because of March Madness the next morning.
Thursday- Once again I woke up at 5:30 and went to March Madness. So much harder then it was the day before. 72 straight down ups at the end when ur legs are weak and u got nothing left in you from the stations. I had nothing left in my legs and i still did my downups correctly. My knees were dead after those. Then i had to come home and go to my orthdontist appointment. Then my dad bought me breakfast, then i was off back to school. Went to school dead from March Madness in the morning then came home and slept.
Friday- No school and let me tell you i needed it. But i still needed to get up around 7 because i had catcher workouts at CC around 8. That lasted an hour and them my dad took me to Rams Horn for breakfast. Good pancakes. Then came home and relaxed then headed off to Heaths for the 20 person Poker Tournament. It wasnt my best day gettin the cards. I just wasnt gettin any good hands and i was very cautious on what cards i played. So i was out pretty early. I then came home and watched the Pistons, they lost, but then went to bed.
Saturday- Woke up around 11, and my mom took me out for breakfast. Man, i went out for breakfast like 3 days in a row lol. Then we went to Petsmart to pick up my dog new treats and toys. Then i came home and got ready for my game and then headed off to pierce. We won our game easily. If me and KJ played the whole game, we would of won by at least 30. We won by 54-37 and i had 21 points. After that i came home then headed over to Ryans. We played basketball the whole night and Alex had her party that night. So i hung out with alex and ashley....and nicole kinda but she said i was being to her but i still love her. Stayed there til about 10 then left.
Today- Woke up around 12 and came online. At about 1 i got a call from alec and ryan askin if i wanted to play some basketball. So i said they could come over and hang out. We went over to mikes, then came back here and played nba live. Then we played basketball for like 2 straight hours. We ended up playing 10 games of 21. Pretty fun. Then they left and i am here now.
North Carolina clinched the number one seed in the ACC by defeating duke 75-73. Pistons are on a 3 game losing streak.....but they are tired. They will do good next game at home. Alright thats it for now.....kinda long but o well

Well.....im bored and its a snowday so im updating...
Monday- On monday i woke up and went to school. Then after school i worked out in the weight room and then i went home. I came home and rested because i had March Madness at 6:29 the next morning. Then i went and layed down at 9. Then i fell asleep around 9:30 and then that was my day.
Tuesday- Today.....I would like to wish Tracie a happy birthday. And yes....it is a snowday. I needed it to but i woke up at 5:30 for March Madness and then i was just waiting to leave then i saw out of the corner of my eye that we didnt have school. Luckily i saw it cause my Mom said when she looked they didnt have it updated. So i went back 2 sleep and woke up around noon. Then i went outside and shoveled with my bro. Then we went to Rallys and had lunch. Now im back here bored and watchin tv.
So this is really short....but i didnt wanna update in the first place.

Well that subject line was hilarious if you were there when it happened. Im pretty sure Alec learned a lesson hahahah. Well i havent updated since thursday...and that was my bros Bday. So here i go on my update..
Friday- NO SCHOOL!! haha yea it was good....slept in til about 1:30. Around 2 i came online and invited zach over to play some poker.....of course i destroyed him and took all of his money....10 bucks helps. He stayed til about 7 and we ordered pizza and shit. Then i chilled out and watched the Pistons beat the Lakers by 21......then i watched the wedding singer then went to bed. I had to get up for my game at noon
Saturday-Woke up around 10.....then took a shower and headin off to pierce. I was happy to see that Ians team lost(bulls) and they were the only other undefeted team besides ours. They lost by 10 and it was great cause the refs blow and the game got way out of hand. Then our game....we started off really slow and our coach told us to give me the ball down in the post....and they werent givin me it. So then in the second....the Cavs were hittin everything they threw up there. But then my teammates were givin me the ball and i scored 11 straight points. At half i think we were down 4....and they were on fire and we werent playing good so u know that we were a lot better then them. Then we came out showing how good we actually were and was leading the whole second half. It came down to 8 seconds left and we were up by 1 and it was their ball. They drove down the lane and me and Tad stripped it from them and the ball was on the ground and the time ran out. And we walked away from the game going 9-0....and Bryan was greatly needed. Then after the game i went and hung out at Smittys with Ryan and Alec. Played pool, live, basketball and all that good shit.
Sunday- Woke up around 12. Then the brother and the mom and I went to DICKS sporting goods lol and bought 300lbs for our bench press. We needed that for a while and im glad we got it. So i came home and worked out for about 2 hours. Then after that i played poker with the Fam. Then ate dinner and this is where i am now. Im gonna go finish watching the UNC vs. Maryland game.....my 2 favorite teams
Pistons play Golden State at 9 tonight...should be a good one...they got Baron Davis now.

Well i am updating from the last time of Sunday.....im bored so i felt like updating....so here i go....
Sunday- Well woke up and im pretty sure i just hung out around the house and watched classic allstar games and allstar game dunk contests on ESPN Classic. Its fun watching that stuff....and its weird cause Jordan won most of the MVPs and Dunk Contests and this was before i was even born and he just retired in 2003, and also started in the Allstar game. Well the allstar game started around 9 and it was a very entertaining game and fun to watch. Vince Carter was his old self and was dunking on everybody including a off the glass one hand slam over YAO. Then Amare had a tight reverse dunk from an oop from IVO. I called before the game East by 10 and IVO MVP....and what happened? East won by 10 and Iverson got MVP with 15 points and 10 assists. Good man Ivo.
Monday- Drive....Football liftin...and went up 2 the rec...
Tuesday- Last Day of Drive....and wow....was i amazed. One of the most impressive displays i have ever witnessed. Brotherhood coming together and cheering for 12 free days off of school. AMAZING!!! We earned 222,888 and earned 12 days of school. Also, since the freshman raised the most money like always....they earned a trip to Cedar Point. So the semester is most likely gonna fly by and i will be a soph soon.....
Wednesday- Drive was over and back to regular schedule and classes....longest day of the year it seemed like....first regular day since the drive about 10 days ago including weekends......was a great experience though....then i had football lifting. I had bball practice at 6 and we got back to work after being off 2 weeks without a game or practice....luckily we werent rusty at all....i have some other news that i will say about basketball when i talk about todays news
Today- School which was alright but i had my 2 hardest subjects with tests and i did fairly well. Then we had football testing and that went well....i benched 150 and squated 175. Ran the 40 in 5.1 and the Shuttle in 4.8. I improved on all four since last time. Then i came home and heard from Mike Basner and Tad(player on my bball team) that Bryan had broken his arm playing at the Rec. This will determine how good our team really is. Bryan is the best ball handling point guard in the league and Daunte and KJ have to step up. Bryan and I combine for 85% of our points and assists a game. Bryan can break a press by himself with 4 guys on him. He is a MAJOR part of our team and it will be very challenging to win without him. He is out for 4-6 and we hope to have him back by the time of the Krany Tournament.
Well that was a pretty long update and i forgot to mention that I dont have school tomorrow because of the Drive Holiday so i will be sleepin in tomorrow. Ill update later. Pistons 33-19

I hope you all enjoy my headline for this entry. That ones for you Aaron. I havent updated since Monday and this prolly wont be long either so here i go on my journey....
Tuesday- Ahhhh pretty much the usual...school then liftin then i came home and slept. Then when my Dad got home we went out 2 eat....and that was pretty much my day.
Wednesday- School....football...liftin....home, and then hooped it up with a couple kids around the neighborhood
Thursday- School then came home and played some Poker....wasnt my best day at the table. Came in third, not that great. Then me and my dad went to Sports Authority and we bought a home gym because we always wanted one. Then we worked on that til about 11 then i went 2 bed
Friday- School then came home and just chilled out here. Then I watched the Celebrity bball game. HAHA i love that shit. Brian McNight did pretty tight though. Nelly also tried 2 dunk 2 lol my boy Nelly. O and also Diania Taurasi talking smack to Greg Anthoney. Gotta Love it. Then watched the Rooks/Soph game and of course Sophmores kicked ass but they were losing for half of the game. Josh Smith is a high flyer and im calling him 2 come out on top for the Dunk Contest.
Today- Haha got up and watched CURLING!!! lol i was very bored then i watched the Illinois game. Then after that Alec called me up and said a bunch of ppl were goin 2 fisher to hoop it up. So i went and Aaron, Alec, Ryan, and Corner were there. Played there for 2 hours. Then in an hour i gotta go 2 my cousins bday party then comin back here 2 watch allstar saturday prolly with ryan, aaron, and alec. So thats it for now

Today i had my half day of school because of drive and we met our goal and raised 72000 for the first day. I brought in 96 and might be the end of my selling. After school i had football and i lifted for about an hour and a half. I came home and went online for a bit then i rested before my basketball game. It was a big game and we started off slow. At halftime i believe we were down 8. The refs werent calling shit and i hate Tony a lot. Then at the end of the 3rd we were down 12. On the bench...me and Daunte were saying that we wont lose this game and that we are better then them. So...like always....we came out explosive in the 4th quarter. We brought their lead down to 4 and then we pressed them full court every play on. We got 2 layups off the press and we tied it up. Then Wyer passed it 2 me in the post and i did my famous fake 2 the middle drop step hook move and we got the lead by 1. Then from there we played tough defense and got layups. We ended up winning the game by 4...48-44.
By the way....Pistons are kicking the Bucks ass by 21 62-41.

Well I am back writing from the last time i wrote....i believe it was tuesday or wednesday. My boys the Detroit Pistons are 30-19 and atop of the central divison. They put a pounding on the Washington Wizards yesterday. O and yes.....Darko had his career high with 7 points. HAHA its funny cause our whole starting lineup gets that before halftime or even the 1st quarter. Dont worry Darko.....you will get better.
Well basketball is still going great. Had a game yesterday vs. Smitty and the Celtics. Beat them 55-47. We improved our record which is now 7-0 while the Celtics are now 5-2. I no doubt had the best game of the year for me yesterday putting up 26 points. Haha but Ryan was doing everything he could 2 get me fouled out. The best part is when i got the ball in the post, and i turned around and Smitty was just standing there waiting for me 2 run into him so he could take a charge. I saw that he was doing that so i just set up and shot it over him. But, he did get me 2 times in the game with a charge even though the refs suck ass. But i have a game tomorrow, Monday, we have a game vs. the Hawks. We crushed them last time by 27. But they have gotten better or as what they said. The game time is 6:00 at pierce.
For school....we have drive all this week. So that means all half days til Monday. We have 2 have 96 dollars in by Monday. I already got that covered. Then my brother informed me that we will have no school on Tuesday because of Mr. Morans funeral. Mr. Moran was a very good man....didnt have him for class....but he was very important to CC. RIP Mr. Moran.
On Wednesday i went to school and then football lifting after school. Then I had practice at 6. Then i came home and ate dinner and studied
On Thursday....mostly the same school, lifting, studied.
On Friday...had a half-day of school because it was the first day of drive...i love drive so far. Then i hung out with some friends at night and played some poker.
On Saturday...woke up and went 2 the gym around 12:00 to see Ians game. They get so lucky but they are also 7-0 just like us. My game was at 3:00 and i already told you about the game earlier in the entry. Then i spent the night over Ryans house with Alec and we hung out with Alex. HAHA that was great....but pooor alex. Ryan is like..."We are gang bangin her" lol
But Alex got Ryan back by giving her the biggest tipper i have seen in a while. We played poker, ping pong, bball, and nba live.
Today, Sunday.....Woke up and then went home from Smittys then i went home and slept because i prolly got 2 hours of sleep cause they made me sleep on the floor. Ill get them back though. Then Ryan called me and asked me if i wanted to play bball at Fisher and i was gonna go....but i decided to stay home and rest cause i have a game tomorrow. As of now i am watching the ProBowl and Donovan is doing terrible and they should put Daunte in.

WOOOOO....im bored so i felt like bringin this back, and Aaron kinda got me back into it since he has like 3827583275875 entries. I will prolly end up not updating this like the last 2 times...just 2 lazy i guess.
-School-
School is goin alright....very boring. Every day is like its the same....good thing is i never have any work to do at home. For the 1st quarter i got a 3.3 then in the 2nd i got a 3.6. So for the semester i got a 3.4....ill take that any day, since i should be working a lot harder.
-Basketball-
Well basketball is going great. We are as of now 6-0. My next game is against my boy Ryan Smith and the Celtics. They got no height so we should be able to take them. But the bad thing is....i sprained my ankle pretty bad, and i might be out for the game. I sprained it last game when Julian fell on it when we were going for the ball. Julian tore us up last game putting up 27 on us. Luckily...he cant shoot freethrows.
-Random-
Well....the Pistons are going at about the same pace as last year. They are as of now 28-19....and first in the Central Divison. It is going to be really tough to try and catch Miami, but Indiana was like this last year and they beat em in the Eastern Conf. Finals. Tayshaun is having a great year and may be up there for most improved player. The Tigers have just made a huge signing which they got Magillo Ordonez. He came from the White Sox and was a great right fielder and i believe he was an allstar. We now have 3 allstars on the Tigers. Im liking the starting lineup that we have as of now. Great Speed in the outfield....and our hitting looks great. Hoping for a .500 season at least

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, i havent wrote in this in forever. I felt like bringin it back, nothing else 2 do. I would like to start off saying that the DETROIT PISTONS ARE THE NBA WORLD CHAMPIONS!
WITH CHAUNCEY BILLUPS AND THE FINLAS MVP! Congrats to Chauncey. They beat the lakers 4-1, and the lakers got lucky that they even won 1 game. Phil Jackson retired and Shaq and Kobe want 2 leave LA now. That would be great if they did leave and LA was left with old pieces of shit. That would be the greatest thing ever.
Now, about my baseball life so far. Our team is 5-4. We have had some really hard loses, that would should of won, and some injury problems. This past friday we played MELVINDALE. Everyone was saying that we had no chance of beating them and they are gonna kick our ass, and that they are the best team in the league. Let me tell you, i believed all that shit, i guess i didnt even wanna really play. We had a double header against them. The first game was goin good, i was pitchin, and i only let in 2 runs in 3 innings. Thats good for me cause usually i walk a lot of people. But i only walked one person and i got a lot of ground ball outs. Then the fourth inning came around and the score was 3-2. I couldnt believe it. I was actually pitchin good til the fourth innings where there were error after error. Run after Run. Then the score was 8-3 when i came out. It was alright. We could of came back. But we didnt have a rally and we lost the first game. Then the second game, i started off the game pitching 2 innings cause Dan could only pitch 5. At the end of the second it was 1-1 tie. Then Dan came in and was throwing so hard they couldnt catch up 2 his pitches. Then we got up 2 bat, and was beating the shit out of the ball. Single after Single, walk after walk. Then we bumped up the score 2 be 9-4 going into the last inning. The first guy on Melvindale got on base. Then he stole second, but we got the batter out, so 1 out. Then he stole 3rd, but we got the next batter out. Now there is 2 outs, with a man on third. Dan throws a wild pitch and it gets behind me 2 the backstop, the guy on third is running 2 steal home. I run and dive on my knees 2 get the ball, i fling it 2 dan who is covering the plate, and puts the tag on the man trying 2 steal home. HES OUT!!!!! WHAT A PLAY 2 END THE GAME! There was many complaints about that game on both sides, but we sure liked the Victory. We had just beat the al mighty Melvindale. We are looking 2 make the playoffs, and we gotta win out. Pudge and Ugy baby.
Wow this was a hell of a long entry. I just kept on typing. Well today is Fathers Day, so im gonna be chillin with him the whole day. Prolly shoot some hoops then go over and play some tennis. Good father-son activities. Well i guess i better go, ill write in this bad boy later.

Am i always sick? Sick again on Easter Sunday. Thats a bitch, and i didnt even eat anything yesterday. I threw up 5 times and lost like 10 pounds. Stomach flu is a bitch. Yea today, i think im gonna ball it up. I got a new basketball, so im gonna try that out. Yea, uh the tigers won again yesterday, 5-1. They have the best record in the major leagues.
